LG announced its much anticipated LG G4 flagship device during its Save the Date Event. As Teased the LG G4 comes with an optional Leather back cover, and 16MP rear camera & an 8MP camera which is great at photography with its Manual Mode, Gesture Interval Shot and Quick Shot features.
The G4 has a slim arc design and a very thin bezel which houses a 5.5″ QHD IPS Quantom display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and ppi of 531. This is definitely a great display and one of the best on the market today.
Under the removable back cover of the G4 lies a removable 3,000mAh battery, a micro SD card slot, 3 gigs or RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Processor with x10 LTE. LG boasts that the LG G4 battery will last 20% longer than the LG G3. Speaking of removable covers, the LG G4 comes in tanned leather and pure Ceramic White with 3D patterns, artisan-forged Metallic Gray as well lustrous, Shiny Gold options.
The LG G4 runs Android 5.1 lollipop which is slightly skinned with LG’s UX 4.0 with features such as Smart Bulletin puts notifications from mulitple apps on the same screen, Event Pocket gathers information from multiple sources and adds them to your calendar and Quick Shot which enables users to open the camera by double tapping the rear button.
The LG G4 is a great device overall and I would pick it up anytime thanks to the Display and Bezelless gods. You will also get an 100GB storage boost from Google Drive just in case the 32 GB internal storage is not enough. Plus it allows expandable microSD storage of up to 2TB….yeah you read that right.
