Microsoft will be adding a headset jack to its Xbox One controllers starting from  June as seen in the new documentation for the Xbox One controller on the Xbox support site. Previously Gamers have ranted over the absence of an audio headset jack which was snot on the initial controller jack.

The new controller will allow users listen with arguably any audio headsets but the microphones will definitely have some issues depending on how different manufacturers design their audio cables on headsets.

This new 3.5mm audio port will be in the position labelled 16 in the Xbox Controller Image shown above.
